Yoga Nidra is also called Yogic Sleep, it is a very specific and deep form of meditation.
Yoga Nidra allows anyone to meditate t0 from children to anyone who finds it difficult to switch off. The only thing that you need to do is to lie down.
It is impossible to practice Yoga Nidra wrongly. All you have to do is listen to the voice guiding you. Yoga Nidra is always guided, so there is no need to meditate trying to guide yourself.
Yoga Nidra promotes deep rest and relaxation that can be difficult to find in typical meditation practices. With the stages of relaxation and breath awareness your nervous system is already calmer and this promotes less stress and better health.
To enjoy the benefits of Yoga Nidra there is no need to practice yoga - although some asanas (postures) can assist with your relaxation.
I run regular online Yoga Nidra Workshops and a weekly online class that you are welcome to join in and pay per class, or pay for monthly access.
I also offer online personal Yoga Nidra sessions. These are written specifically for you and can cover anything you want to focus or work on.
